Whether you’re an independent contractor or managing a whole fleet of trucks, at some point you’re going to need to replace one part or another. We here at DeBary Truck Sales want to help you prepare for that, so we’ve put together a few of the easiest and most important spare parts to gather ahead of time, below. To learn more, or to see the truck parts we have for sale, contact our store in Sanford, Florida, today!

Toolkit

Obviously for most of the parts you’ll need to replace, you’re going to need a toolkit. Some of these parts will be difficult to even access without the right tools on hand. Make sure to always drive with a comprehensive toolkit stowed away so you’re prepared in advance for maintenance emergencies.

Extra Bulbs

Your truck’s headlights, tail lights, and turn signals are all vital safety features. Even LED bulbs can break or degrade over a long enough time, so keep some replacement bulbs on hand, making sure they’re the right size and voltage.

Spark Plugs

You won’t start your engine without functional spark plugs, and if they get dirty or break you may want a spare on hand. Bring a few on each drive just to be safe.

Fob Batteries

Mode modern trucks are utilizing keyless ignition, making your key fob more than just an accessory. Without a working battery, you may not be able to start your truck at all! Even if all your fob does is make locking and unlocking doors more convenient, keep some extra batteries on hand.
